  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 11×7 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, sugar, dark brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon; mix well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine with the wet mixture until just incorporated.
  4. Gently fold in finely chopped apples.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
