  • 1 ball easy pizza dough (or store-bought)
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 small garlic clove, grated
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon fine salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 5 oz fresh mozzarella (or shredded firm mozzarella)
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone inside if available.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to a 12-inch circle and transfer it onto parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, mix olive oil, water, parsley, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper; spread evenly over the dough.
  4. Top with mozzarella slices and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake on the pizza stone or baking sheet for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Garnish with additional parsley and serve hot.
