  • 3 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 1 can (14 oz) San Marzano tomatoes
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves (torn)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add San Marzano tomatoes, seasoning with salt and pepper; simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Combine drained pasta with the sauce in the skillet, tossing well and adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  5. Just before serving, stir in torn basil leaves and top with grated Parmesan cheese.
