  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or unsalted butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for about 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add chicken broth to deglaze the pan, stirring to scrape up any browned bits; simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and optional red pepper flakes; cook for another 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
