  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet; set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté diced onion until translucent; add minced garlic and cook briefly.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth; simmer before stirring in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions; drain while reserving some pasta water.
