  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually combine with the butter mixture, alternating with sour cream.
  4. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan. Mix cinnamon and sugar; sprinkle half over the batter. Add remaining batter and top with remaining cinnamon-sugar mix. Swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
