  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pound chicken breasts to about ¼ inch thick. Layer each with ham and Swiss cheese, roll tightly, and secure with toothpicks.
  3. Dredge rolls in seasoned flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat; sear rolls until golden brown on all sides.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for about 20–25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. For the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then gradually add milk. Stir in Dijon mustard and Parmesan until thickened.
  7. Serve chicken rolls sliced with sauce drizzled on top.
