  • 23 medium potatoes
  • 500 grams lean beef mince
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Lettuce (shredded)
  • Cheese (dairy-free or regular)
  • Pickles
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (dijon or yellow)
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice (from the jar of pickles)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Prepare the spice mix by combining smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Cut potatoes into thin chips and toss them with olive oil and half of the spice mix in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Arrange the chips on a baking tray and bake for 30–40 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. In a frying pan over high heat, cook the beef mince with remaining olive oil and spice mix until browned.
  5. Mix all burger sauce ingredients in a small bowl; adjust seasoning as desired.
  6. Assemble each bowl with crispy potatoes at the base, topped with shredded lettuce, cooked beef mince, cheese, pickles, and a generous drizzle of sauce.
